Our Founder

Azhar Mansiya, CFA, CAIA

Founder and Chief Investment Officer

Azhar Mansiya founded Alamut Capital with a vision to bring Institutional grade Quantitative investment solutions to average daily individuals and High Net-Worth investors. Azhar brings a unique blend of deep investment knowledge, advanced technical skills, and an insatiable curiosity for learning. He is an accomplished investment professional with over 15 years of experience in the investment industry working with JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, State Street and Fiera Capital.

Drawing from his experience in investment performance and risk attribution analysis and equity research, Azhar drives the firm’s strategy as its Chief Investment Officer. He combines expertise in fundamental analysis, quantitative techniques, and portfolio construction to deliver innovative, client-centric solutions.

Azhar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and is a proud Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder, reflecting his deep commitment to excellence in investment management and alternative investments.
